1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ScripsMoot's services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Service Description

ScripsMoot provides premium car rental services, including luxury vehicle rentals, executive transport, wedding car hire, and airport transfers throughout the United Kingdom.

3. Booking and Reservations

3.1 Booking Requirements

  • Valid UK or international driving license (minimum 2 years)
  • Minimum age of 25 years for luxury vehicles
  • Valid credit card for security deposit
  • Proof of identity and address

3.2 Reservation Confirmation

All bookings are subject to availability and require confirmation from ScripsMoot. A booking is not guaranteed until you receive written confirmation.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Payment Methods

We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and corporate accounts. Full payment or authorized deposit is required at the time of booking confirmation.

4.2 Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 48+ hours before rental: Full refund minus 10% administration fee
  • Cancellations 24-48 hours: 50% refund
  • Cancellations less than 24 hours: No refund
  • Wedding bookings require 14 days notice for full refund

5. Vehicle Use and Restrictions

5.1 Authorized Use

Vehicles may only be operated by the authorized renter and any additional drivers listed on the rental agreement. Unauthorized use voids all insurance coverage.

5.2 Prohibited Uses

  • Racing, rallying, or competitive driving
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Transporting hazardous materials
  • Off-road driving
  • Commercial transportation services

6. Insurance and Liability

6.1 Insurance Coverage

All vehicles include comprehensive insurance with excess waiver options available. Coverage details will be provided at the time of rental.

6.2 Liability

The renter is responsible for any damage, theft, or loss of the vehicle during the rental period. ScripsMoot's liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

7. Vehicle Return and Condition

7.1 Return Requirements

  • Vehicle must be returned at agreed time and location
  • Fuel tank must be at same level as collection
  • Interior and exterior must be in clean condition
  • All personal belongings must be removed

7.2 Late Return

Late returns may incur additional charges. Returns more than 4 hours late may be charged for an additional day.

8. Damage and Security Deposits

8.1 Security Deposit

A security deposit is required for all rentals. The amount varies by vehicle category and rental duration.

8.2 Damage Assessment

Any damage discovered will be assessed and charged against the security deposit. Repair costs are based on manufacturer recommended rates.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

10. Force Majeure

ScripsMoot shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, or technical failures.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

12. Modifications to Terms

ScripsMoot reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
